It was a few months after you had lost the baby, in fact today would have been your due date. You looked outside and watched the rain as it poured and sighed. You wished you hadn't lost the baby, but you knew at least it was in a good place. You heard someone running down stairs and looked to find Romano being chased by none other than France.
"Hey! Leave Romano alone!" You yelled scoping Romano up as he hid in your hair.
"Mon cher (my dear) I was only playing with him," France said.
"Sure, maybe in France playing consists of making kids cry while you chase them, but not here," you said giving him a dirty look. "Stay away from my son."
"S-son?" Romano asked amazed as he looked up at you after you had walked up stairs to keep from strangling a certain Frenchy.
"Si, that's what you are right?" You asked smiling down at him.
"Ti amo Madre (i love you mom)," Romano said hugging you.
"Ti amo too Romano," you said kissing his forehead before you got attacked by a little yellow ball of fluff.
"Gilbird! Get back here!" Prussia yelled chasing his bird.
"What is up with all of you upsetting something today?!" You asked growing irritated with your husbands friends that had decided to stay at your house for the week since the world meeting was being held in Spain.
"Ze awesome me can't help zat Gilbird vants to go outside," Prussia said making you sigh.
"Well then take him outside and take France with you!" You said wishing Toni (Spain) would hurry and get home.
"Aww vats vrong vith you?" Prussia said teasing you.
"You two are driving me insane as if I wasn't crazy enough today!" You said trying not to lose your temper side you were still holding Romano.
"Vats vrong vith today?" Prussia asked confused.
"Oui you act like someone died-" France said making tears well in your eyes.
"Now look at what you-a did you idiotas (idiots)!" Romano yelled at them jumping out of your arms to yell at them.
"Vhat? Vhat did ve say?!" Prussia asked as you ran to your room slamming the door behind you.
You could hear Romano yelling at them, but you couldn't understand a word of what was being said over your loud sobbing. Why were you falling apart like this? You knew she was in a better place and yet you couldn't help but feel selfish and want her here with you.
Your door opened and you looked to see Spain hurrying toward you Romano not far behind.
"Madre, don't-a cry, I yelled at them for you," he begged trying to make you smile.
"Ssh it's ok amor (love) I'm here," Toni whispered pulling you into his arms.
"Those idiotas will pay for- a hurting my Madre," Romano mumbled and you looked up at him about to shake your head when you noticed he was holding a thing of flowers.
"W-where did those come from?" You weakly asked as Spain wiped away your tears.
"The tomato- I mean Spain got them for you," Romano said handing them to you and a small smile appeared on your lips.
"That's what took me so long to get home," Toni said sighing, "i-i thought maybe we could go on a date tonight, b-but if you're not-"
You cut Toni off by gently pressing your lips to his before you said, "I'd love to, but by the time I get ready it'd be late-"
"We can cook it!" Romano volunteered and you and Toni both gave him him a look, but you soon realized the only reason he volunteered us because he loved you more then anything else and he didn't want to disappoint you.
You grinned and picked Romano up kissing his forehead and making him blush much to Toni's amusement.
"Shut up you tomato loving idiota! I'm only doing this for-a my Madre!" Romano yelled confirming your thoughts.
"So what do you say amor?" Toni asked looking into your eyes.
You looked at both of them for a moment before you grinned and kissed both of their cheeks as you said, "Si, go cook you two."
They grinned and nodded Toni giving you a small kiss before he was dragged away by Romano making you laugh. You got ready, not dressing too fancy since you were only eating in the kitchen, but still you got out of your jeans and t-shirt and put on a nice dress.
You walked down stairs, not seeing either France or Prussia, but then again they were the last people you wanted to see. You were about to walk into the kitchen when Romano stopped you and lead you outside to a picnic table under the moonlight. You laughed and Toni soon came out grinning ear to ear as he pulled you up into a hug and Romano went back to the kitchen.
"You look amazing," Toni whispered in your ear as he kissed your neck making you shiver.
"Thanks, you don't look bad yourself," you said grinning and he rolled his eyes as France and Prussia came out and sat food on the table Romano watching their every move closely before all three headed back inside to give you and Toni alone time.
"Toni," you called after you both had eaten.
"Si?" He asked looking into your eyes.
"Te amo (I love you)," you whispered in his native tongue.
"Te amo too __________," he whispered before he pulled you into a breath taking kiss. "Now for part two of this date." He said smirking and you looked at him confused.
"Should I call Romano?" You asked.
"No! He can't be involved," he said still smirking. "You're about to get a lesson on becoming one with mother Spain."
You almost died from both laughing and blushing at the fact he had stolen one of Russia's lines, but you didn't have time to recover because he was soon on top of you kissing you softly and you just hoped nobody decided to come outside or else they would get a eye full of your favorite Spainiard's amazing butt.
